A League of Their Own
ComedyDramaSport54 min per episode
In 1943, Carson Shaw heads to Chicago to try out for the new All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, where a roster of women chasing a place in pro ball begin forming uneasy friendships and a team. Abbi Jacobson is Carson, a married small-town woman whose trip opens up far more than a shot at first base. Across town, Chanté Adams’s Max Chapman arrives at the same tryouts and is turned away, pushing her to find another route toward the game with help from her best friend Clance. The series expands the film’s world to follow both life inside the league and the women kept outside it.
