After a car crash, Alma begins slipping loose from ordinary time. She sees visions of her dead father and starts to believe she can move through memories, moments, and possible futures to uncover what really happened to him. As her sense of reality keeps shifting, everyday life with her family, her boyfriend, and her job becomes harder to hold onto. What looks like a mental break may also be a door into something stranger, and Alma pushes deeper even as the people around her doubt what she is experiencing. Rosa Salazar leads a story that keeps tying grief, family secrets, and time itself into the same mystery.
