In 1950s Jim Crow America, Atticus Freeman sets out to find his missing father and follows the trail toward a Massachusetts town tied to the stories of H. P. Lovecraft. The trip becomes a dangerous road journey through segregated counties, hostile locals, and places where the country’s everyday racism gives way to something openly monstrous. As Atticus, his friend Letitia, and his uncle push deeper into the mystery, they uncover a bloodline connection and a circle of occult power that has been waiting for him. Jonathan Majors and Jurnee Smollett lead a story where family history, secret societies, and supernatural terror keep colliding.
