The case grows from street-level financial crime into a national reckoning, with prosecutors and detectives trying to keep the inquiry alive while the system pushes back. Created by José Padilha and Elena Soarez, the series tracks how an anti-corruption task force uncovers the machinery of graft and the damage it leaves behind.
