Patrick Melrose

Drama59 min per episode

Benedict Cumberbatch is Patrick Melrose, a wealthy Englishman whose polished upbringing hides years of damage. The story follows Patrick from a traumatic childhood in the South of France to drug-fueled adulthood in New York, where addiction, family history, and class privilege keep colliding. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Hugo Weaving appear within the family orbit that shaped him, as the series moves between memory, self-destruction, and the uneven attempt to get back to Britain and toward recovery. Its view of the British upper class is cutting and darkly funny, even as Patrick’s life keeps slipping between control and collapse.
