Six months before an asteroid is due to collide with Earth, an MIT grad student and a tech superstar bring their discovery to a low-level Pentagon official and trigger a scramble inside Washington. Charlie Rowe is the student at the center of the warning, while Santiago Cabrera’s Darius Tanz tries to turn scientific alarm into action. As the countdown tightens, the story moves between government secrecy, private-sector influence, and the pressure of deciding how much of the threat to reveal.
