After a personal collapse, Evan heads from the U.S. to a village on the Italian coast, hoping distance might steady him. Lou Taylor Pucci is Evan, a drifting young American whose quick connection with Louise turns a backpacking escape into an intense romance. Nadia Hilker’s Louise is charming, elusive, and guarding a secret that runs far deeper than ordinary deception. As their relationship deepens among cliffside streets and Mediterranean sunlight, Evan starts to see that the woman he’s fallen for is tied to something ancient, physical, and increasingly hard to explain.
