In 2010, self-styled mad scientist Rintaro Okabe spends his days in a cramped Akihabara apartment, messing with gadgets alongside his friends. What starts as amateur tinkering turns into something far more dangerous when they discover a way to send text messages into the past and quietly alter the present. At first the changes seem small, even useful. Then each message reshapes lives, memories, and the world around them in ways they can’t fully predict or control. As the consequences pile up, Okabe is forced to track shifting timelines, protect the people closest to him, and face how quickly a private experiment can become a trap.
