The Middle

ComedyFamily22 min per episode

Frankie Heck is a married mother of three in Orson, Indiana, trying to keep her lower-middle-class household moving through work, school, bills, and the kind of daily setbacks that never arrive one at a time. Patricia Heaton is Frankie, whose optimism and exhaustion are usually in a dead heat, while Neil Flynn’s Mike meets the same chaos with a dry, shut-down calm. Around them, their kids turn every routine problem into a new one, from family dinners to school milestones. The series stays grounded in the small scrambles of home life, with a lived-in Midwestern setting and a sharp eye for ordinary mess.
