In Istanbul, a chance encounter pulls together people who would normally never share the same space: a housecleaner shaken by fainting spells, the psychiatrist she begins to see, and the families, friends, and employers around them. As their lives brush against one another, buried resentments, class tension, religious conservatism, loneliness, and old trauma surface in private sessions and uneasy conversations. Meryem tries to make sense of what is happening to her while those watching her are forced to confront their own fractures. With Öykü Karayel and Fatih Artman folded into this web of intersecting lives, the series follows how one woman’s distress exposes the fault lines running through very different corners of the city.
