Roseanne

Comedy23 min per episode

Roseanne Barr is Roseanne Conner, at the center of a working-class household in Lanford, Illinois, where getting by on a limited income shapes nearly every plan. With John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf in the family mix, the series keeps its focus on everyday pressures at home: money worries, cramped routines, and arguments that flare up around work, marriage, and raising kids. The comedy comes out of those day-to-day struggles rather than big contrivances, keeping the Conners tied to the details of ordinary family life.
