Rob Schneider is Stan Minton, a two-bit con man who panics after a fraud conviction leaves him headed for prison. Terrified of what waits for him inside, he spends the time before his sentence trying to remake himself, hiring a mysterious martial arts guru portrayed by David Carradine to teach him how to fight. What follows mixes Stan’s frantic self-preservation with training-montage absurdity, prison-yard threats, and broad slapstick built around a man who has always talked his way out of trouble suddenly needing a tougher persona to survive.
