Uglies

ActionAdventureDramaFantasySci-Fi102 min

In a future society rebuilt after catastrophe, every teenager grows up marked as “ugly” until a mandatory operation at 16 transforms them into one of the beautiful “pretties.” Tally has spent her life waiting for that moment, treating the surgery as the only path to acceptance and a better life. But when she meets someone who resists the system, the rules she has taken for granted start to look like a way to control everyone’s bodies and choices. As pressure builds to go through with the procedure, Tally is pulled between the world she has been promised and a dangerous alternative that could make her an enemy of the state.
