The Pregnancy Scheme
Thriller88 min
Pregnant and newly single, Julia loses her job just as she needs stability most. Then a new friend, Alana, offers a strange way to make money: she says she knows people willing to pay for positive pregnancy tests. Inspired by true events, the film follows Julia as a financial crisis pulls her into a secretive arrangement built on money, trust, and shifting motives. Greta Carew-Johns and Ruth Bidner lead the story as the scheme tightens around Julia and the line between help and manipulation starts to blur.
