Cuckoo
HorrorMysteryThriller103 min
Seventeen-year-old Gretchen is dragged to the German Alps when her father moves his new family into a resort town that immediately feels off. Hunter Schafer is Gretchen, stranded in an unfamiliar place where strange noises, bloody visions, and flashes of a woman pursuing her keep cutting through the postcard calm. As her mute half-sister Alma draws the attention of the family’s unsettling host, Mr. König, Dan Stevens gives the town’s hospitality a watchful, unnerving surface. What starts as an awkward relocation pulls Gretchen toward secrets in the town and unease inside her own family.
