In 1960s Egypt, a skeptical hematologist finds his orderly life unraveling as a series of impossible events follows him from lecture halls to family gatherings. Refaat Ismail has spent years dismissing superstition, but each new encounter points back to forces he cannot explain away. As old fears resurface and the people closest to him are pulled into the danger, he is forced to investigate cases that blur science, folklore, and nightmare. Ahmed Amin anchors the story as a man trying to stay rational while the world around him grows stranger, and more threatening, by the day.
