Nacho Libre

ComedyFamily92 min

Ignacio is a monastery cook in Mexico, mocked by the monks and struggling to help feed the orphans in his care. Jack Black’s Ignacio finds a second life in lucha libre, pulling on a mask and reinventing himself as Nacho Libre in hopes of winning prize money, earning a little respect, and catching the eye of Sister Encarnación. The film follows his double life from the monastery kitchen to small-time wrestling bouts, mixing homemade costumes, ring theatrics, and broad slapstick as this unlikely friar chases glory under the mask.
