HorrorMysteryThriller97 min

Before the Lambert family haunting, a teenage girl grieving her mother turns to psychic Elise for help contacting the dead and draws the attention of a ruthless spirit. Lin Shaye returns to the role of Elise, with Dermot Mulroney as the girl's father and Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell back as investigators Tucker and Specs. Framed as a prequel, the story follows a new family while opening another path into The Further, the shadowy realm behind the series' supernatural attacks.
