Susan Cooper is a desk-bound CIA analyst who spends her days guiding agents from behind the scenes until a mission goes sideways and she volunteers to head into the field herself. Melissa McCarthy is Susan, suddenly operating under deep cover as she tries to get close to a dangerous arms dealer and stop a looming nuclear threat. Opposite her, Rose Byrne's sharp-tongued broker turns every encounter into a test of nerves and status. The operation moves from CIA back rooms to high-end parties and European safe houses, with Susan improvising her way through gadgets, aliases, and increasingly public disasters.
