Afflicted

HorrorMysterySci-FiThriller85 min

Two friends set out to film a round-the-world trip, turning their cameras on hostels, nightlife, and the freedom of being far from home. Then one of them falls suddenly ill after a night out, and what seems like a bad infection starts changing his body in ways neither of them can explain. As the symptoms grow stranger and more violent, the trip turns into a desperate attempt to document what is happening and figure out whether it can be stopped. With Derek Lee and Clif Prowse onscreen as the friends behind the cameras, the footage follows their friendship as fear, secrecy, and the need for answers overtake the journey.
