The 13th Warrior

ActionAdventure102 min

Antonio Banderas is an exiled Muslim ambassador sent north on a diplomatic mission who finds himself attached to a band of Viking warriors. In 10th-century Scandinavia, his disgust at their brutal customs gives way to wary respect when the group is summoned to help a distant kingdom facing a legendary threat. Dennis Storhøi is part of the Norse company, a hard-edged circle of fighters whose myths, rituals, and violence are filtered through the eyes of an outsider. The film moves between courtly formality and muddy combat as the journey pushes deeper into a landscape of villages, caves, and old fears.
