Lawrence of Arabia
ActionAdventureDramaWar228 min
During World War I, British officer T.E. Lawrence is sent into the Arabian desert to make contact with Arab leaders and help turn rival tribes against the Ottoman Empire. Peter O’Toole is Lawrence, an enigmatic outsider whose confidence and restlessness keep pulling him deeper into the revolt, while Prince Faisal (Alec Guinness) weighs the promises of British support against his own political aims. Directed by David Lean, the film moves between military strategy, shifting alliances, and the vast desert landscape that becomes central to Lawrence’s campaign.
