The Vanishing

DramaMysteryThriller108 min

On a remote Scottish island in the early 1900s, three lighthouse keepers arrive for their shift and come across a wrecked rowboat carrying a chest that doesn’t belong to them. Peter Mullan and Gerard Butler are two of the men pulled into the discovery, with Connor Swindells rounding out the isolated crew. When another boat appears offshore, the question of who owns the treasure — and who might come looking for it — starts to close in on the island. Inside the lighthouse and out on the rocks, routine gives way to secrecy, suspicion, and the pressure of being cut off from the mainland.
