In the Army Now

ComedyWar91 min

Bones Conway and Jack Kaufman join the Army Reserve to fund their latest business scheme, expecting easy money instead of combat. Pauly Shore is Bones, the fast-talking half of the pair, with Andy Dick’s Jack tagging along through basic training and a string of bad assumptions. Their plan unravels when they’re assigned to a water purification team and suddenly shipped into a war zone, where army routine gives way to confusion and pressure they never planned for. Lori Petty and David Alan Grier round out the unit around them as the comedy shifts from barracks slapstick to desert deployment.
