Confess, Fletch

ComedyCrimeMystery99 min

While searching for a stolen art collection, Fletch finds himself accused of murder and forced to investigate the case from inside the suspect pool. Jon Hamm is the quick-talking, habitually troublesome sleuth, following a trail that runs through an eccentric art dealer, a missing playboy, a hard-to-ignore neighbor, and his Italian girlfriend. As the clues get messier, the case keeps widening instead of narrowing. Roy Wood Jr. and Marcia Gay Harden turn up among the people crowding Fletch’s orbit, giving the mystery a loose, dryly comic shuffle as he tries to clear his name.
