On the run from the goons they’ve crossed, an uncle and his nephew hide out in a village and find themselves drawn to the same woman: the widow of a feared kidnapper. Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi give the fugitive pair a bickering, uneasy rapport as money troubles and divided loyalties follow them into hiding. At the center is Vidya Balan, whose widow unsettles both men and shifts the balance between desire, suspicion, and survival. The story threads romance and dark humor through a criminal underworld where betrayal is never far off.
