Voicemails for Isabelle
ComedyDramaRomance119 min
After her sister’s death, Jill copes by leaving voicemails for Isabelle, unloading the chaos of her days as she drifts through life in San Francisco. Then the old number is reassigned, and her messages start landing with an Austin real estate agent who keeps listening as this private ritual turns into an accidental connection. Zoey Deutch is at the center of the story, with Nick Offerman and Lukas Gage among the people in Jill’s orbit. The mix of grief, crossed wires, and long confessional messages gives the romance a distinctly off-kilter starting point.
