Beverly Hills Cop II
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeThriller103 min
Eddie Murphy is back as Detroit detective Axel Foley, pulled to Beverly Hills after the near-fatal shooting of Captain Andrew Bogomil. Working unofficially again, Axel teams up with Judge Reinhold’s Billy Rosewood and John Ashton’s Taggart to trace a string of “alphabet” robberies that points toward a larger weapons-smuggling operation. The case sends the trio through the polished streets and mansions of Beverly Hills and into shootouts, undercover moves, and high-speed chases, with Murphy’s fast-talking Axel pushing against the department’s rules at every turn.
