Knight Bowen has spent years hunting dragons when his path crosses Draco, the last one alive, and the encounter pulls him into open rebellion against a tyrant king. Dennis Quaid is Bowen, a battle-worn swordsman whose faith in chivalry has curdled, while Sean Connery gives Draco a wry, commanding voice. As Bowen moves from village to village, he discovers that dragon and king are bound together by a shared heart. Taking down the crown suddenly means an impossible choice: if the king dies, Draco dies with him.
