Moving from the shoreline dig to labs and digital reconstruction, the film follows the evidence as bones are examined, scanned, and assembled into a picture of the animal that once swam through Jurassic seas. Attenborough guides the process step by step, using CGI and current imaging technology to bring the specimen out of the rock and place it back in its prehistoric world.
