Tales from the Darkside: The Movie

ComedyFantasyHorrorThriller93 min

A kidnapped paperboy is trapped in a suburban kitchen, trying to stall the witch who plans to cook and eat him. To stay alive, he tells her three increasingly nasty stories, each one buying a little more time while she prepares the meal. The tales jump from a mummy’s deadly return to a college student drawn into a cat-and-mouse battle with something far older and hungrier than it first appears, then on to a struggling artist who makes a bargain that twists into revenge. Deborah Harry and Christian Slater appear within these stories, but the tension keeps circling back to the boy’s desperate attempt to talk his way out of becoming dinner.
