Blood & Gold

ActionAdventureDramaWar98 min

In the final days of World War II, Robert Maaser’s German deserter is trying to get home to his daughter when he’s pulled into a violent hunt for hidden Jewish gold. An SS troop is sweeping through the countryside in search of the treasure, turning his return into a fight that runs through a small village already fraying under the war’s collapse. Jördis Triebel is among the locals caught in the middle as desertion, greed, and unfinished wartime loyalties collide. The setup mixes a homecoming gone wrong with a last-ditch battle over what’s been buried and who plans to claim it.
