The Odd Couple
ComedyDramaRomance106 min
After his marriage falls apart, Felix Ungar moves into his friend Oscar Madison’s Manhattan apartment, turning a temporary arrangement into a daily war over dust, dinner, and personal space. Jack Lemmon is Felix, a fussy news writer whose need for order takes over every corner of the place; Walter Matthau’s Oscar, a sports journalist with a sink full of dishes and regular poker nights, meets him with equal stubbornness. What begins as a favor between friends becomes a close-quarters clash of habits, pride, and companionship in 1960s New York.
