Hover over a recognized movie or show on a site you enable, then open its trailer and US viewing options beside the article.\n\n[See how it works](https://reelrecs.com/extension/#how-it-works) Free · Desktop Chrome 140+ · No account needed\n\nSubmitted to the Chrome Web Store. Actual offers and title coverage can change.\n\nFROM READING TO WATCHING\n\n## Follow the title that interests you.\n\n1. 01\n \n ### Enable a site you read\n \n Open ReelRecs from Chrome’s toolbar. In Settings, turn on title highlights for that site. Readable article text is matched on your device.\n \n2. 02\n \n ### Hover for a quick look\n \n A dotted underline marks a recognized title. Hover to check the film or series and its reported US viewing options. If names overlap, choose the year and version you mean.\n \n3. 03\n \n ### Open the full picture\n \n Click the title or the preview’s Details button. A side panel opens with more information, a trailer when available, viewing options and Save for later.\n \n\nExisting article links keep their original destination. Use the preview’s Details button to open ReelRecs. Keyboard users can focus a marked title, then press the down arrow to reach that button.\n\nANOTHER WAY IN\n\n## Already know the name?\n\nType it into the side panel. You can also select a title on a webpage, right-click and choose “Find where to watch with ReelRecs.” Search works without enabling site highlights.\n\nCheck the year and format before opening the result. That matters for remakes and films that share a name with a series.\n\nKEEP A GOOD IDEA\n\n### Save it for another night.\n\nYour saved titles stay in this Chrome profile. Come back to the list and open a title for a fresh viewing check.\n\nExtension saves are separate from your mobile app watchlist. The first release does not connect to your account.\n\n## Know what the viewing option means.\n\n### With a subscription\n\nCheck whether your plan or an extra channel includes the title.\n\n### Free or free with ads\n\nThese labels stay separate so you know what to expect.\n\n### Rent or buy\n\nThese usually cost extra. The provider confirms the current price.\n\nOffers cover the United States in the first release. Each listing shows its reported date. A direct offer link is labeled “View offer”; a provider homepage is labeled “Open service,” with the title to search for. Movies and episodes play through their providers.\n\n[Learn how to check a title and its viewing options →](https://reelrecs.com/guides/check-a-title-and-where-to-watch/)\n\nHELP & QUESTIONS\n\n## A small tool for the moment you need it.\n\nWhich browsers and countries does it support?\n\nThe first release supports desktop Chrome 140 or newer and reports United States viewing options. It does not run inside Chrome on iPhone or Android. Choose Other country in the panel to see the coverage notice.\n\nWill it highlight titles on every website?\n\nYou choose which HTTPS sites can use highlights. Matching runs in readable article and main-content areas and skips forms and editors. Some websites prevent extensions, use unusual layouts or contain names that are too ambiguous to mark. Search in the panel or the right-click menu when a title is missed.\n\nDoes it read or send my browsing history?\n\nThe extension does not collect your browsing history. Article matching happens on your device. A hover lookup sends the matched title ID and US country to ReelRecs; a manual search sends the name you submit. Your page address and article text are not included. Read the [extension privacy details](https://reelrecs.com/extension/privacy/).\n\nCan I turn highlights off?\n\nOpen Settings in the extension and select Turn off beside the site. You can also remove site access in Chrome’s extension settings. Search and your saved list still work.\n\nWhat if an offer or title looks wrong?\n\nCheck the release year and whether the result is a movie or series. Confirm access with the provider. If the result still looks wrong, [contact ReelRecs](https://reelrecs.com/contact/?subject=chrome-extension) with the title, year and provider. Please leave out private page text and account details.\n\nHow do I fix a blank or slow lookup?\n\nCheck your connection, then try Search again. If ReelRecs asks you to wait, pause for a minute before retrying. Your local saved list is available while the service is unavailable. Chrome’s Manage extensions page lets you check that the extension is enabled and up to date.\n\nDoes this include personal recommendations?\n\nThis extension helps you explore a title and its viewing options. For suggestions shaped by your ratings, use the [ReelRecs app](https://reelrecs.com/guides/find-movies-that-fit-your-taste/). You can also [explore ReelRecs in ChatGPT and Claude](https://reelrecs.com/assistants/); that page explains current availability.\n\n[Contact extension support →](https://reelrecs.com/contact/?subject=chrome-extension)[Extension privacy](https://reelrecs.com/extension/privacy/)\n\nLET YOUR TASTE LEAD THE NEXT ONE\n\n## Good find.
